NEW - AKALI® Project Athena Racing Series:
In 2010 Peloton Sports will create and implement a public relations campaign for Project Athen and Project Athena Foundation, based in San Diego, California. An emphasis will be placed on generating participation at three events in 2010 (San Diego, Nashville, Raleigh), promoting sponsors and building awareness of the main beneficiary, Project Athena Foundation. NEW - USTA Florida and Twilight Tennis @ The Landing:
Tennis fans on the First Coast of Florida are all invited to a new event on September 11. The US Open women's tennis final will be shown LIVE on a big screen at The Landing in downtown Jacksonville as part of a tennis celebration - Twilight Tennis @ The Landing. Peloton Sports has been contracted by USTA Florida to promote this FREE event, which includes the live tennis broadcast, a Fall Tennis Fashion Show, interactive games and challenges, food and drink specials for all USTA members that show current USTA membership cards, and QuickStart Tennis mini-courts set up for adults and children. Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch:
Peloton Sports has managed the PR and strategic marketing plan for Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze since 2002. It is now one of the top corn mazes in the US for attendance, topping 40,000 customers each fall. Peloton Sports has garnered coverage for the maze in Southern Living magazine, Points North, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Public Broadcasting "Gardening in Georgia", FOX5 news, and other regional outlets. In 2009 the publicity campaign generated 69 media stories (print/web/broadcast), accounting for 41.6 million media impressions. Uncle Shuck's was featured in a 30-minute Halloween special on WGCL TV in Atlanta, helping to increase attendance in the final three weekends of November. Tour de Georgia:
Peloton Sports was involved with the Tour de Georgia for five of the six years. The Tour de Georgia accelerated in growth to become North America's premier, professional cycling event and rolling festival. Peloton Sports managed all media relations and communications services for the Tour. Results generated national and international exposure for Tour sponsors, host cities and the event beneficiaries, the Georgia Cancer Coalition and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Peloton Sports accredited over 200 media each year for this spring event, and each year increased media coverage of the event, being recognized in 2008 with a Phoenix Award for stellar media relations. Tour of Missouri:
Peloton Sports provided media services for the 2009 event, which was the most successful of the three years of this top-rated professional cycling race. Held in September, the Tour of Missouri attracts top international cycling teams to race over 600 miles from St. Louis to Kansas City. Peloton Sports acted as the in-house news agency, writing daily news releases and athlete quote fact sheets for media, as well as creating daily newsletters for sponsors.
ING Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon:
In just two years, this event has become one of the largest combo running events in the U.S. Peloton Sports has helped organizers reach registration goals of 13,000 entries or more since 2007 with targeted public relations in the Southeast. Peloton Sports, in partnership with CloudSpark Communications has managed the PR/media relations for the marathon for three years, including crisis communications when a tornado disrupted the start/finish line area just days before the 2008 event. Fusion Event Staffing:
Peloton Sports spread the word when Fusion reached a milestone of 15,000 employees in 2008. Continued public relations planning helped Fusion with its branding in the event industry. (www.thefusionteam.com)
Greenville Hospital System USA Cycling Professional Championships:
For four consecutive years Peloton Sports has managed media and public relations for the national championships of professional cycling, which moved from Philadelphia, Penn to Greenville, S.C. in 2006. Close to 30 media messages - press releases, media advisories, calendar of events listings, sponsor updates - were distributed in 2008 for sponsors and the Labor Day-weekend event, generating 200 print and broadcast stories locally and nationally for 90 million impressions. In 2009, print and web media coverage increased by 24%. Greenville Hospital System was mentioned as the title sponsor in 66% of pre-event stories. (www.usacyclingchampionships.com)
The First Tee of Jacksonville:
Peloton Sports provides pro-bono PR for The First Tee of Jacksonville. Along with strategic planning for the non-profit organization's public relations for 2009-2010, Peloton Sports has refreshed all content on the web site, with a focus on telling the full story of how TFTJ has helped more than 1,500 children with life skills across north Florida. Additional communications programs have focused on helping TFTJ raise needed awareness and funds through its special events - A Taste of Golf and Play With The Pros.

Shuck's Family Fun Farm, Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch:
Peloton Sports added a second agritourism account in 2009, managing a public relations campaign for the grand opening of Shuck's Family Fun Farm - Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch - in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. PS coordinated a media day and pitched local media in the Kansas City area for the inaugural season and grand opening in September 2009. Key feature stories ran in all targeted media, including KCStar.com and Pleasant Hill Times. The maze will be featured in 2010 on a Discovery Channel series called "Aerial America".

Historic Roswell Criterium:
In 2002 Peloton Sports was challenged by Roswell Velo, a local cycling club, and City of Roswell to find sponsorships and generate media attention for a one-day cycling festival in just three months. Since that year, Peloton Sports has supported this annual event with media relations and marketing services, helping the event grow from 5,000 to 10,000 spectators and from 300 participants to over 1,200 pro and recreational participants!
