Jackie founded Peloton Sports, Inc. in 1998. The office is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. Peloton Sports has managed projects for sports and entertainment clients worldwide. For the past 9 years Peloton Sports has specialized in media relations and publicity for professional cycling events across the U.S.. Jackie has also spoken at a number of public relations and sports conferences, including Georgia Bicycle Summit and USA Cycling Race Director and Team Summit. Read Jackie's bio here. For the Tour de Georgia, Jackie served as the Director of Communications for five years. Overall responsibilities for the premier professional bicycle stage race in North America included media relations, public relations, grassroots marketing and management of the website. The event has attracted 2.8 million spectators in six years and generated over $121 million in direct economic impact for the State of Georgia. Publicity programs have generated millions of media impressions across the U.S., including a 420% increase in broadcast impressions from the first year.
Jackie has also handled public relations programs for sponsors at the Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games, managed media operations projects at outdoor venues during the Salt Lake Olympic Games. She also has vast experience with a major sporting goods manufacturer and three professional baseball teams.
She and her husband have been cycling enthusiasts for many years. Their favorite bicycle rides are in the north Georgia mountains and the French Alps.
