Having
worked in the sports industry for 20 years, Jackie founded Peloton Sports,
Inc. in 1998, with headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Peloton Sports has managed projects for sports and entertainment clients
worldwide. Jackie has been responsible for communications and marketing
programs for a variety of clients:

For
the Tour de Georgia, Jackie served as the Director
of Communications for three years. Overall responsibilities for the
premier professional bicycle stage race in North America included management
of the website, print production, media operations and public relations.
The event attracted 2.3 million spectators in four years and generated
over $121 million in direct economic impact for the State of Georgia.
Publicity programs have generated millions of media impressions across
the U.S., including a 420% increase in broadcast impressions from the
first year. From 2005 to 2006, Peloton Sports helped increase coverage
for the Georgia Cancer Coalition, the tour's official beneficiary, by
30% and generated a 40% increase in coverage for the Tour sponsors.
Jackie
has also handled public relations programs for sponsors at the Atlanta
and Sydney Olympic Games, managed media operations projects
at outdoor venues during the Salt Lake Olympic Games.
She also has vast experience with a major sporting goods manufacturer
and three professional baseball teams, including part ownership of the
Class A Kinston Indians of the Carolina League.
She
and her husband have been cycling enthusiasts for over 12 years. Their
favorite bike rides are in the north Georgia mountains and the French
Alps.
